The D8000Z Series is a next-generation platform that redefines the capabilities of large venue projection. Packed with features - including HEP DMD, dual-laser technology and 4K+ resolution - it delivers brilliant visuals, flexible installation and operational excellence. This makes the D8000Z Series designed for professional environments that demand the highest standards of performance and flexibility. Comprising three models – the DU8053Z (14,000 lumens), the DU8055Z (16,000 lumens) and the DK8155Z (15,000 lumens), the D8000Z Series is available immediately.

Advancements in HEP (High Efficiency Pixel) Technology Migration

The HEP DMD Migration in the D8000Z series is optimised for reliability, efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The solid-state light source ensures that the projectors deliver enhanced brightness, superior image quality and high levels of energy efficiency. This makes the D8000Z series ideal for professional and large-venue applications, with customers set to benefit from its durability, reliability and future-ready performance.

The Higher Contrast Capability is delivered via an increased pixel size and tilt angle (from 12d to 14.5degree) for better direct light performance, a richer colour gamut and higher contrast capabilities. The D8000Z series offers the advantage of 4K+ resolution; more pixels result in greater brightness. It is also capable of matching the 16:10 aspect ratio used in - and required by - both education and business customers.

The D8000 Series’ dual-laser diode design (blue and red), combines advanced technology, superior brightness, and vibrant colour reproduction for exceptional performance. 360° Operation and Portrait Projection Capability

To simplify set up, the D8000Z series offers flexible installation with unlimited angles - including 360° rotation and portrait mode - which makes it ideal for projecting on ceilings, walls, floors, or angled surfaces. In addition, the D8000Z series features a geometric correction function that delivers precise image adjustments using a grid, offering greater installation flexibility to accommodate any space or positioning constraints. The D8000Z series features built-in edge-blending capabilities, allowing multiple projectors to simultaneously project a combined image for stunning, seamless visuals on large displays.

Users also benefit from a powered lens shift (horizontal/vertical), making adjustments easy while further boosting positioning flexibility. The Lens Positioning Memory also offers quick recall of user-defined lens positions (lens shift) for easy setup to ensure accurately proportioned images. To make the set up process as seamless as possible, Vivitek offers ViviCam, an Auto-Calibration Tool that streamlines the setup process, improves image quality, ensures consistency across multiple projectors, saving users time and effort.

It includes features ranging from No Signal Power Off to a Low Power Mode.
