Vivitek NovoTouch EK Series adds more value with free upgrades

Vivitek - the visual display brand for all meeting spaces - has introduced new value-added features and updates to its 4K UHD All-In-One NovoTouch EK Series, developed to further strengthen device security and enhance the user experience – all at no extra cost. The 4K UHD All-In-One NovoTouch EK Series already offers exceptional touch performance and features NovoConnect Wireless Collaboration, as well as powerful NovoDS Digital Signage functionalities. The range comprises 65”, 75” and 86” panel sizes, and the upgraded version is available now on all future and existing EK3 models. 

 

 

 

In its constant quest to keep device security at the cutting edge, Vivitek has further tightened the NovoTouch EK Series’ security with Android 11. It now benefits from scoped storage, which restricts data flow between different applications and keeps sensitive information more secure. Additionally, it now has Advanced App Permission, so users can choose how to share their data, while a device lock to restrict access to students is also included. 

 

 

 

Already noted for its ease-of-use, the updated NovoTouch EK Series goes further to boost productivity through an updated interface design. The existing apps – NT Camera, NT Calculator, NT Timer, NT LiveNote, NT Browser and NT Spotlight – are displayed in a ‘floating’ format, making them quicker and easier to access. Meanwhile, the redefined sidebar simplifies the process for navigating through NovoTouch’s background apps and home screen. Also helping to boost productivity is the EK Series’ Picture-in-Picture feature. This enables users to view external video input (including Type-C, VGA, HDMI) as a floating window, while for increased convenience, users can control their laptop using touchback. 

 

To make participation a possibility for all, the NT Live screen feature brings content to additional Novo and/or personal devices in the room or other locations on the network. It enables them to view content streamed from the NovoTouch screen to any device, simply by scanning a QR Code or by entering an HTTP Link. Additionally, Miracast Support provides screen sharing for Windows devices. Users can natively share their Windows device using the built-in Miracast, which eliminates the inconvenience and interruption of downloading additional software.

 

At the same time, Vivitek’s NovoTouch entry level BK series of Collaborative Touch Panels, continues to offer a competitive mix of affordable, reliable and feature-rich solutions for meeting and learning spaces. Available in 65”, 75” and 86” display sizes, THE BK650i, BK750i and BK850i 4K UHD are attractively priced to accommodate the budget requirements of the education sector. Packed with value thanks to the apps for education, the NovoTouch BK series makes it easy to maximise the learning experience as more than 50 education and productivity apps can be downloaded for free, including Mozaik 3D, Google Classroom and Ed Modo.
