The Full Coverage Warranty underlines Vivitek’s commitment to both customers’ total cost of ownership and environment
Hoofddorp, 3 May 2016 – Vivitek, a leading brand of visual display products, has announced it is to offer a pioneering and industry-unique Ultra Short Throw (UST) lamp and product Five Year Full Coverage Warranty programme, as an option, to cover users for five years of operation*, thus eliminating the costs and concerns associated with maintaining a projector. Valid for all current Vivitek UST models sold during 2016, unlike competitor offerings, the lamps will be replaced free of charge rather than at a reduced cost to the user, thus ensuring peace of mind with lamp coverage and product warranty for five years.
By covering up to two extra lamps, Vivitek ensures the projectors can be used easily for five years with an average of about 10 hours a day in standard operating mode. In addition to the generosity of the warranty, Vivitek has made it easy to claim against it with minimum effort to the end user. When the lamp needs replacing, Vivitek will send out a new lamp, and subsequently collect the lamp and ensure it is processed at a specialised recycling company, thus avoiding potential environmental damage as a result.
The Full Coverage Warranty works hand-in-hand with Vivitek’s commitment to the environment. It recognises its responsibilities and is committed to playing a driving role in the industry when it comes to environmental consciousness throughout the product lifecycle - in manufacturing, product design and durability and recycling.
Commenting on the offer, Holger Graeff, General Manager Vivitek EMEA said: “Vivitek recognises the costs of maintenance, especially when replacing a lamp. The lamp life is a serious consideration when purchasing a projector. For the Ultra-Short Throw models from Vivitek, we want our customers to get the best projector with the longest lamp operation, and that’s what this unique warranty offers.”
Vivitek’s warranty is underpinned by its extensive track record of delivering innovative projection technologies, boasting energy-efficient and ecology-conscious design and manufacturing processes. That is why it has absolute confidence in the system performance and reliability of its lamps and ballasts. To that end, Vivitek is prepared to back its products up with warranties that provide excellent coverage against defects in materials to ensure customers have peace of mind.
This Five Year Full Coverage Warranty programme is an option that applies to specific units in addition to the current offering, valid until 31 December 2016. Full details are available from: /support/warranty/5-year-full-coverage/
